Students in the Culinary Arts program at Coventry High School's Regional Career and Technical Center recently completed their annual Thanksgiving dinners for folks of Coventry who are home-bound, elderly, and/or physically limited. What did you serve for dessert this Thanksgiving? With so much attention given to the bird, stuffing and cranberry sauce, dessert might be forgotten. However, some families still adhere to old recipes and labor all day to make a homemade pie. Some bakers are becoming really creative in mixing and mashing desserts, such as the Cherpumple, a monster pie-cake with apple, pumpkin and cherries. Coventry Patch wants to know what dessert you enjoyed the most this year? Tell us in the comment section below!

AAA Releases its Thanksgiving 2012 Travel Forecast.
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and that means people are thinking about the three Ts: turkey, trimmings and travel. Not only will it be a busy time in the kitchen, it will also be busy on the roads and at the airports. But according to the AAA Thanksgiving 2012 Travel Forecast, this year will be busier than last, but not by much.
