RIDOT: Laurel Ave. Bridge June Construction Update
From June 3 - June 16, 2012 the following operations will be in effect:
Week of June 3 Daytime: Construction and dewatering continues for the center section splash pad. Begin excavation and grading for the center splash pad. Continue the micro‐pile installation for the south abutment. The fabrication of the steel beams continues. Week of June 10 Daytime: Complete the micro‐pile installation and begin construction for the south abutment pile cap. Construction continues on the center splash pad by installing forms, installing reinforcing steel and placing concrete.
