Cox Announces Winter Scholar-Athlete Nominees
Two Coventry High School athletes have been nominated.
Two Coventry High School student athletes have been chosen as nominees for the Cox RI Sports Awards 2011-12 Winter Scholar-Athlete awards. Haley Crossley was nominated for Gymnastics and Joe Nardolillo for Wrestling. The winners will be revealed at the sixth annual Cox RI Sports Awards presented by the RI National Guard on June 13 at the RI Convention Center. The nominees were selected by coaches and athletic directors from the RI Interscholastic League and the Cox RI Sports Awards Committee. Cox Sports and the RI National Guard will honor the state’s best scholar-athletes from Woonsocket to Westerly and the top college athletes at the Cox RI Sports Awards.
