Lions Club Honors Four Members of Coventry Community
An official ceremony for the honorees will be held on March 1 at Nino's.
At Monday night's Town Council meeting, representatives from the Coventry-West Greenwich Lions Club were in attendance to publicly honor four members of the Coventry community for their outstanding service and dedication: • Detective Steven Gabriele – Police Officer of the Year • Deputy Chief Kelly Guastini – Firefighter of the Year • Tara D’Aleno – Teacher of the Year • James Spearman – Citizen of the Year Western Coventry Fire District Deputy Chief Kelly Guastini and Town Sergeant Jim Spearman were present at the meeting to hear Council President Gary Cote read a proclamation recognizing the honor.
