Where's Santa? Track Him Live from Coventry!

The North American Aerospace Defense Command has a website that now offers a Santa tracker mobile app to follow the jolly man's magical flight.

Now the only thing left for children to do is track Santa's progress as he delivers gifts around the world on Christmas Eve. Thanks to the folks behind the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) website, families worldwide can now follow Santa's Christmas journey in real time. This Coventry house is one of the 24 finalists in Patch’s Deck the House contest. Vote now to help this entry win $100,000 for Coventry schools.

Could this be the best “decked” house in the country? Possibly. Congratulations to Tyler Horrocks, the mastermind behind the Crazy Christmas House for being chosen as one of the 24 finalists in our Deck the House contest! According to users who voted in our annual Deck the House contest, this home in Wood Estates has the best holiday lights in town. Check out the spectacular video here.  We had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and in our quest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in the country, we’ve seen everything from a larger-than-life, animated Santa to holiday lights so bright they could blind the neighbors. We loved showcasing everyone’s holiday spirit, but Deck the House isn’t over yet. …

Holiday Light Display Brings Cheer While Benefiting Make-A-Wish

"The Crazy Christmas House" in Coventry will kick-off its seventh year on Saturday.

While most people begin gearing up for the Christmas season right around Thanksgiving, Coventry resident Tyler Horrocks begins at bit earlier - in August. This holiday season marks the seventh year that Horrocks has built an awe-inspiring light display in the front yard of his family's home at 9 Blue Spruce Drive - a display that takes much longer than the average weekend to prepare.  "I start in August by preparing the yard, cutting overgrown tree limbs, moving bushes if necessary, then I move on to designing and painting the scenery…by November I start to lay all of the connection points and by then there's always work to do on it," he explained.
