From June 17 - June 30, 2012 the following operations will be in effect:
Week of June 17 Daytime: Install rip rap channel at center splash pad. Construction begins for dewatering the North Abutment splash pad. Excavation and grading commences on the North Abutment splash pad and training wall. Commence excavation, grading and forming for South Abutment pile cap. The fabrication of the steel beams and precast back walls continues. Evening: No evening work is anticipated for this project. Week of June 24 Daytime: Construction continues for dewatering and forming the North Abutment splash pad and training wall footing. Week of June 3 Daytime: Construction and dewatering continues for the center section splash pad. Begin excavation and grading for the center splash pad. Continue the micro‐pile installation for the south abutment. The fabrication of the steel beams continues. Week of June 10 Daytime: Complete the micro‐pile installation and begin construction for the south abutment pile cap. Construction continues on the center splash pad by installing forms, installing reinforcing steel and placing concrete. From May 20 –June 2, 2012 the following operations will be in effect:
Week of May 20 Daytime: Construction and dewatering continues on the south abutment by erecting stone veneer on the south training wall. Also, backfilling continues behind south training wall for the south abutment footing. The fabrication of the steel beams continues. Week of May 27 Daytime: Construction will continue on the south training wall stone veneer. Mobilize and begin micropile installation for the south abutment.
