PHOTOS: Toe Jam Puppet Band Visits Blackrock School
The Massachusetts-based children's act gave two performances at the school on Thursday.
If you were standing outside the doors of Blackrock Elementary School's gymnasium on Thursday, you may have thought there was a rock concert going on inside. To the school's, Pre-K through fifth grade students, this very well may have been the case when they were visited by the "Toe Jam Puppet Band" for two one-hour performances. The two-man band featured Tom Poitras as the plaid-suited singer and songwriter and Vinny Lovegrove as the silly emcee. Poitras played acoustic guitar and banjo while singing original songs like "I Need a Car Wash", "Green Light A Go-Go" and "Don't Scare the Aliens".
