Saint Vincent De Paul Church, tucked away on a large, well-maintained parcel on St. Vincent De Paul Street off a bustling section of Washington Street, was founded in 1937.
The church was established by Franco-Americans, though all ethnicities are welcome. The parish began as a mission parish of what is now Saints John and Paul Church in the West Warwick village of Arctic. The pastor, Father Father Michael Kelley, was appointed in 2009.
The church's groups include Religious Education, the Ladies Guild, Holy Name Society, Youth Group, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the Respect Life Group.
There are several special events hosted by the church, including the Harvest Bazaar in November, followed by the Century Club banquet. In June, there is also a church yard sale and an annual French Mass featuring French language hymns.
