Your Guide: Local Elks to Host 'Truckin' for Tots' Fundraising Campaign

Coventry-West Greenwich Elks will kick off this year's Toys For Tots campaign Saturday.

This Saturday, Dec. 7, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge #2285, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich, will host the 31st Truckin' For Tots fundraising campaign.

The event, like the original Toys For Tots program, is co-sponsored by the New England Van Council, US Marine Reserves and the Elks. Its goal is to deliver, through new toys at Christmas, messages of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive and patriotic citizens.

Saturday's function will feature kid's games, music, food and more, all for a great cause! Santa will even be taking time from his busy schedule to visit the truckers, family and friends in attendance.
