This Weekend: Saturday Morning Crafts, All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet and More

Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.

Weekend Fun at CPL: On Saturday mornings, the Coventry Public Library hosts Drop-In Crafts to Make & Take where children of all ages can create a fun craft project to take him. Also offered on Saturday mornings is Drop-In Games, during which kids of any change can play board games with friends. No registration required.

A-Y-C-E Breakfast: From 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, the Manchester Lodge #12, located at 585 Washington St., will hold an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet. $8 per adult, $4 children (under 8).

Live Nativity: At 6 p.m. on Saturday, Faith Fellowship Community Church, located at 260 Victory Hwy. in neighboring West Greenwich, invites all to its Annual Live Nativity. Light refreshments will be served.

Beginner Line Dancing: From 6-8 p.m. every Sunday night through June 8, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will hold Beginner Line Dancing Classes. Cost is $6 per person. All ages are welcome. Call Lori at 821-4361 or the Lodge at 397-3700 for more information. Proceeds benefit Elks charities.

Rescheduled due to weather - Hopkins Hill Holiday Happenings: Originially scheduled for Sunday, Hopkins Hill School's Holiday Happenings will now take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at 95 Johnson Blvd. The annual event will feature live entertainment, "Main Street" local vendors, kids crafts and games, face painting, cake bingo, Santa's Toy Chest, raffles and of course, visits with Santa!
