This Weekend: Arts & Crafts, Free Museum Admission and More

Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.

Weekend Fun at CPL: On Saturday mornings, the Coventry Public Library hosts Drop-In Crafts to Make & Take where children of all ages can create a fun craft project to take him. Also offered on Saturday mornings is Drop-In Games, during which kids of any change can play board games with friends. No registration required.

Bingo at Knotty Oak: Every Saturday at 6 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.), Knotty Oak Village will host weekly Bingo in the Community Hall, located at 14 Manchester Circle.

Museums On Us: As part Bank of America's "Museums on Us" program, people with a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card get free admission to the Newport Art Museum, 76 Bellevue Ave., Newport; the RISD Museum, 224 Benefit St., Providence; and the Providence Children's Museum, 100 South St., Providence this Saturday and Sunday! Beginner Line Dancing: From 6-8 p.m. every Sunday night through June 8, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will hold Beginner Line Dancing Classes. Cost is $6 per person. All ages are welcome. Call Lori at 821-4361 or the Lodge at 397-3700 for more information. Proceeds benefit Elks charities.
