Monday Essentials: Christmas Closures, Greene Book Group and More

Today is Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 and here are some things to know about the week ahead.

CFD Santa Tour: From 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, the Coventry (Anthony) Fire District will bring Santa Claus himself to visit with residents along and South of Washington Street.

18+ Bingo: The Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) will hold Bingo tonight and every Monday at 6 p.m. The cost is $4 plus Specials. All are welcome, but must be 18 years and older to play.

Christmas Closures: Still have some last minute errands to run? Click here for a list of Coventry businesses and offices in town and their holiday hours for Tuesday Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25.

CPD Safety Event: From 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, the Coventry Police Department will hold a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop at Anytime Fitness, located at 55 Sandy Bottom Rd.

Greene Library Book Group: From 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, Greene Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene, will host this month's Adult Book Discussion Group. Come sit by the fire and chat about this month's selection, The World's Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne.
