Monday Essentials: CPL Closed for Maintenance, CCFD Hearing, Meeting and More

CPL Closed: Coventry residents should take note that the Coventry Public Library will be closed for maintenance all day Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.

CCFD Court Hearing: At 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, a hearing for the Central Coventry Fire District will be held at Kent County Superior Court (222 Quaker Ln., Warwick). Click here to view court documents for Monday's hearing.

Canceled - Tax Review Meeting: The Board of Tax Assessment Review meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 17, has been canceled. A new meeting date has not yet been confirmed.

CCFD Board Meeting: Members of the Central Coventry Fire District Board of Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Dec. 18, in the Town Hall Annex auditorium (1675 Flat River Road) to discuss ongoing district business. Click here to view the meeting agenda. To find more events and happens, check out our event calendar.

CPD Safety Event: From 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, the Coventry Police Department will hold a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop at Walgreens, located at 875 Tiogue Avenue.

Toddler Stories and Songs in Greene: The Greene Public Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Road, Greene, will host Toddlers, Tunes & Tales this and each Friday morning from 10-10:30 a.m. The program is intended for children ages 1-3 accompanied by a parent or caregiver and will feature songs, movement and a fun story.
