Monday Essentials: New Year's Closings, CPD Safety Event and More
Today is Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 and here are some things to know about the week ahead.
18+ Bingo: The Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) will hold Bingo tonight and every Monday at 6 p.m. The cost is $4 plus Specials. All are welcome, but must be 18 years and older to play.
New Year's Closures: Still have some last minute errands to run before ringing in 2014? Click here for a list of Coventry businesses and offices in town and their holiday hours for Tuesday Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
CPD Safety Event: From 12 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, the Coventry Police Department will hold a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop at Dunkin Donuts, located at 800 Tiogue Avenue.

Toddler Stories and Songs in Greene: The Greene Public Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Road, Greene, will host Toddlers, Tunes & Tales this and each Friday morning from 10-10:30 a.m. The program is intended for children ages 1-3 accompanied by a parent or caregiver and will feature songs, movement and a fun story. Editor on Vacation: Christmas is behind us and 2013 is coming to a close - which means that it's about time for me to hide my laptop and take some much-needed vacation time.
