UPDATE: Voting Now Open - Coventry Community Garden Nominated for Grant
If chosen, the Community Garden will receive $4,000 to help fund the program that feeds Coventry families in need.
On February 2, Organic Magazine contacted the to let them know the garden was one of 15 across the country nominated for a $4,000 grant.
The grant program, funded by DeLoach Vineyards, will present checks totaling $20,000 to five community gardens that have a large impact on their communities. The funds can be used for anything from purchasing seeds and supplies. installing sheds and lighting, improving signage and more.

Members of the Coventry Community Garden are currently filming a video that will be posted soon to be voted for by members of the community.
The voting period will extend over five months beginning March 6 until August 6. Instructions on how to vote will be posted on Coventry Patch when they become available.
