LeBrun Named RI School Counselor of the Year

She will be recognized by the Coventry School Committee at Tuesday's meeting.

 

At the Twelfth Annual Rhode Island School Counselor Association Conference, of Coventry’s, Lori LeBrun, was named Rhode Island School Counselor of the Year for 2012.

She is known throughout the school community for having an extremely strong commitment to her students and seeing them succeed.

"Ms. LeBrun makes a concentrated effort to know all students and establishes positive, supportive relationships, visits advisory groups and initiates and coordinates numerous student support groups and assemblies," said Principal, Dr. Michael Almeida. "A recent survey in the school overwhelmingly identified this counselor as the adult they fell most comfortable with."

LeBrun will be recognized by the Coventry School Committee at the May 22 meeting.
