Kevin Robinson, 10 Time 'X Games' Medalist to Visit ASFMS Students

The RI native and BMX star asked to speak with ASFMS students after learning about the tragic passing of 8th grade student Jacob Aversa.

East Providence native Kevin Robinson, winner of 10 “X Games” medals for BMX riding, will demonstrate his riding skills as well as give a motivational talk to the 400 eighth grade students at Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School of Coventry on Friday, Dec. 13.

Robinson, also known as K-Rob, heard about the death of ASFMS 8th grader, Jacob Aversa in September, and wanted to come speak to the students. He was personally touched by the story when he became aware that Jacob was an avid biker and skater who frequented the Town's skate park at Paine Field.

An inspiring and energetic speaker, Robinson will be sharing stories with students about embracing life, being supportive and respecting of others, and living positive lifestyles. He will intersperse his speaking presentation with bike demonstrations and even offer some opportunities for audience participation.
