1.) Senior Center Breakfast

Where/When: Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.); Friday, 7:30 - 9 a.m.

Why Go: Enjoy scrambled eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, pancakes or English muffin with juice, coffee or tea. All are welcome!

Pricing: $3 per person

Where/When: Greene Public Library; Fridays, 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Greene Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 397-3873 to register.

3.) Breakfast with Peter Cottontail

Where/When: Coventry High School cafeteria; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Why Go: Gather the family at CHS for some Easter fun this weekend! The event includes breakfast, crafts, story time, an egg hunt and a chance to meet Peter Cottontail!

Pricing: $8 per person age 5 and up, children 0-4 are free

4.) Greene Library LEGO Club

Where/When: Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday, 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! No registration necessary.

5.) JPCA Casino Night Fundraiser

Where/When: West Valley Inn (4 Blossom St., West Warwick); Saturday, 6 p.m.

Why Go: The Johnson's Pond Civic Association is hosting its first fundraiser of the year - a Casino Night featuring dinner, dancing and Vegas-style gaming! All Proceeds benefit the continued effort to study, conserve and manage the pond against invasive weeds and foreign species as well as the Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display Celebration.

6.) Lions 39th Pancake Breakfast Buffet

Where/When: 29 South Main St.; Sunday, 8-11 a.m.

Why Go: The Coventry-West Greenwich Lions are hosting their 39th Pancake Breakfast Buffet this Sunday, complete with a full-course buffet (prepared by Bob Meehan of the former Robin's Nest) and bake sale. The event benefits local charities in the community.

Pricing: $8/adult, $4 child, children under 6 are free

7.Roger Williams Park Zoo Egg Hunt

Where/When: Roger Williams Park Zoo (1000 Elmwood Ave, Providence); Sunday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Why Go: Roger Williams Park Zoo is hosting it's annual Egg Scavenger Hunt this Sunday where families can pick up a scavenger hunt card as they enter, follow clues to collect eggs, then turn their eggs in to receive a special goodie bag.

Pricing: Free with Zoo admission

8.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
