Well Workshop: The URI Cooperative Extension Water Quality Program and RI Dept. of Health will conduct a free workshop for private well owners tonight from 7- p.m. at Western Coventry School. Call 401-874-4918 to register and click here for more information.

CHS College Visits: Representatives from several New England colleges will be visiting Coventry High School this week. Today's informational visits include, Plymouth State at 11:30 a.m. and University of New England at 1 p.m.

Special Education LAC: Coventry's Local Advisory Committee (LAC) on Special Education originally scheduled for Sept. 26 will be held this evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the School Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Rd.) Click here for more information and to view tonight's agenda.

CHS PTSA: Are you considering joining the Coventry High School PTSA? Some perks of joining include helping to provide seniors with college scholarships, no time committment at the high school level and many benefits that can be found at www.pta.org/benefits. Sign up by Oct. 17 to be entered in a drawing for a family four pack to Field of Screams, a haircut at Creative Corner and dinner at Chili's. The cost is $7 per membership and checks should be made payable to CHS PTSA, and returned to the Main Office attention Dawn Fusco. To obtain a sign-up form, see the CHS website or the attached PDF.

Plan Ahead - Paranormal Activity: The Western RI Civic Historic Society invites you to join them at the Coventry Public Library on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. for a presentation about paranormal findings at Belcourt Castle in Newport. Call Jane at 822-9100 to register.
