Coventry School Building Committee: Invitation to Bid

Sealed bids will be received at: 

Town of Coventry School Building Committee 

Coventry Public Schools 

1675 Flat River Road 

Coventry, RI 02816 

Until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at which time they will be opened in public and read aloud.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Coventry High School, 40 Reservoir Rd., Coventry, RI 02816. 

The Town of Coventry Building Committee reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any or all bids in part or in whole; the right is further reserved to award a contract in part or in whole. The bid accepted will be the one that is considered to be in the best interest of the Town of Coventry Building Committee. 

BID DEPOSIT: 

Every bid submitted shall be accompanied by cash, certified check, or bond bid, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to Town of Coventry Building Committee. The amount of the bid deposit shall be at least 5% of the amount of the total bid. 

No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least ninety days after the day and date set for opening of bids.
