Coventry Rams Need Facebook 'Likes' to Win Pop Warner Pink Game Photo Contest

Simply "like" the Rams' photo entry on the Pop Warner Facebook page by 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 to help the organization win a $500 grant.

Cheerleaders and players of the Coventry Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading Association are currently in the running to win a $500 grant for the organization through the Pop Warner Pink Games Photo Contest. The contest was launched following the nationwide Inaugural Pop Warner Pink Games that helped raise awareness for Breast Cancer research.

In order to win, the Rams need the help of their fellow Coventry residents, who are being asked to simply "like" their photo submission in the Pop Warner Facebook album. The Rams' photo already made it through the first selection round and is now up against 11 other finalists to see which organization can earn the most Facebook "likes" by the voting deadline of 5 p.m. EST on Monday, Oct. 28.

In their photo, more than two dozen Coventry Rams cheerleaders pose with the Rhode Island Chapter of Pink Heals' rescue truck, "Jenna", named several years ago in honor of Jenna Jacques, who was fighting cancer at the time. Sadly, Jenna lost her battle on July 6, 2013 at the age of 9 years old.
