Coventry Veteran Receives Army Commendation Medal

Terrance Arthur Brown, Sr. of Coventry was recently recognized by Senator Jack Reed at an award ceremony in Cranston. 

Sen. Reed presented Brown with the Distinguished Army Commendation Medal for his exemplary service while serving as a Private First Class in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His family also joined him for the presentation.

In addition to the Army Commendation Medal, Brown received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and Bronze Star Attachment (Double), and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon with Device.
