Victim of Fatal Fire ID'd as 91-Year-Old, Police Searching for Kin

Police have identified the victim in the March 2 inferno on Knotty Oak Road.

Coventry Police have identified the victim of a fatal house fire at Knotty Oak Road on March 2 as Thomas Castellucci, 91.

Police said they responded to the scene at about 7:23 p.m. and found the house fully engulfed. They tried to approach the house to see if anyone was inside but they were "driven back by intense flames and heat," police said in a release.

After firefighters were able to knock down the fire, they found a man's body in the rear of the house.

Coventry Police are now looking for any next of kin. Anyone with information is asked to contact Coventry Police at 401-826-1100
