Tyler Seddon, 7, Hospitalized Again in Leukemia Battle
He drew national attention last week as hundreds of police officers and firefighters across the region held a birthday parade for him.
Tyler Seddon, the 7-year-old Pascoag boy who has earned the support of law enforcement agencies across the country in his fight against leukemia, is back in the hospital.
Last week, hundreds of police officers and firefighters across the region held a birthday parade for Tyler.
Tyler was admitted to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence this week for surgery after he suffered an infection, according to WCVB-TV.
Tyler loves law enforcement and his mother set up a Facebook page asking first responders to send him birthday cards a few weeks ago. It resulted in an outpouring of support, including a special video made by the Los Angeles Police Department. One of the officers in the video was tragically killed in a crash while responding to a call a few days after shooting the video.
Tyler's mother, Rachel, told WCVB she was in California Thursday for the officer's funeral.
