Hope Valley Barracks

At 8:48 a.m. on August 28, Troopers arrested Gary Benoit, 25, of 66 Johnson Blvd., Coventry, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay, on an original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the East Greenwich Police Department. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Laurel Avenue in the Town of Coventry. Benoit was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later transported to Third District Court.

At 2:30 p.m. on August 28, Troopers arrested Joshua Peck. 20, of 787 Washington St., Apt. #2, Coventry, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay, on an original charge of Disorderly Conduct out of the . The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Tiogue Avenue at Sandy Bottom Road in the Town of Coventry. Peck was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.

At 3:45 p.m. on August 28, Troopers arrested Joseph Maynard, 29, of 481 Fairview Ave., Coventry, for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Hearing on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct out of West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of Coventry. Maynard was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later turned over the ACI Men's Intake Center.

At 1:15 a.m. on September 1, Troopers arrested Matthew Achey, 21, of 93 Hill St., Coventry, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on McNiff Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held for morning arraignment.
