State Police Reports and Legal Logs - October 2012 #2

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests and Grand Jury reports. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 6, Troopers arrested Mathew Mowry, 21, of 26 Pond View Dr., Coventry, for Possession of Marijuana. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue at Goddard Street in the City of Providence.

At 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 6, Troopers arrested Ryan Maynard, 22, of 46 Wisteria Dr., Coventry, for 1.) Duty to Stop in Accidents Resulting in Personal Injury, 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs – 1st Offense, 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 South at Thurbers Ave. in the City of Providence.

Hope Valley Barracks

At 12:02 a.m. on Oct. 9, Troopers arrested William Pitocchelli, 31, of 20 Marion Ave., Coventry, for Driving Under the Influence .15 or greater – 1st Offense (Phase 1 –. 150, Phase 2 - .150 BAC). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of Richmond. Pitocchelli was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Suvardi, and released to the custody of his father, with a future Fourth District Court date.

At 12:33 a.m. on Oct. 9, Troopers arrested Zachery Montijo, 20, of 50 Murray St., Coventry, for Driving Under the Influence .10-.15 1st Offense (Phase 1 –. 111, Phase 2 - .109 BAC). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on West Warwick Ave. in the Town of West Warwick. Montijo was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight to await transport to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, Troopers arrested Miranda Thomas, 33, of 35 Gadoury Ave., Coventry, on an affidavit of an arrest warrant originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks for 1) Driving Without a License 2) Obstructing a Police Officer. The arrest was the result of an investigation and Troopers responding to 35 Gadoury Ave., Coventry. Thomas was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment. 

At 5:25 p.m. on Oct. 17, a Trooper arrested Jason W. Smith, 33, of 6 Acacia Ct., Coventry on a Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Division Rd. in the Town of West Greenwich. Smith was returned to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to the ACI's Intake Center in the City of Cranston.
