A collection of various Coventry-related arrests and Grand Jury reports. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Hope Valley Barracks

At 1:05 a.m. on July 25, troopers arrested Amanda Hodde, 20, of 31 Lane C, Coventry, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Brookside Avenue in the City of West Warwick. Hodde was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center.

At 2:46 a.m. on July 27, troopers arrested Christine Demers, 31, of 172 Station Street, Coventry for 1.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana from the North Providence Police Department, 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule I-V originating from the Pawtucket Police Department, 4.) Disorderly Conduct, 5.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty and 6.) Resisting Arrest. Demers was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute, Women's Intake Center.

At 4:15 p.m. on July 28, troopers arrested Jeffrey Jones, 39, of 41 Vaughn Hollow Road, Greene, for Intentional access, alteration, damage or destruction (computer crime, unauthorized downloads of pictures). The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation conducted by troopers T. Chabot, Doherty and Fevrier. Jones was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace at the Hope Valley Barracks and released on bail.
