State Police Reports and Legal Logs for Mar. 20-Apr. 8

RI State Police Arrests:

Hope Valley Barracks

At 1:22 a.m. on Mar. 23, troopers arrested Lawrence Erice, 54, of 355 Hopkins Hill Road for driving under the influence refusal to submit to a chemical test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South at Exit 7 in West Greenwich. Erice was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held pending morning arraignment.

At 12:15 a.m. on Apr. 1, troopers charged Michael J. Cole, 35, of 445 Fairview Ave. on two Family Court bench warrants with failure to appear for child support payment and a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear/ability to pay on an original charge of driving with a suspended license originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tiogue Avenue. Cole was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutes.

At 1:45 p.m. on Mar. 31, a trooper arrested Joseph Lanigan, 33, of 3 Sabina Court on a Third District Court bench warrant on an original charge of operating on a suspended license out of West Greenwich Police Department and driving on a suspended license. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North, in Warwick. Lanigan was transported to the Wickford barracks for processing, and was released after posting cash bail.
