Hope Valley Barracks

At 8:30 p.m. on August 17, troopers arrested Paul R. Matteson, 54, of 114 Read Ave., Apt. #2, Coventry, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on an original charge of Indecent Exposure / Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Rhode Island State Police-Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Matteson was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.

At 5:15 p.m. on August 22, troopers arrested Matthew Benoit, 23, of 116 Whitehead Rd., Coventry, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on an original charge of Violation of No Contact Order originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street in Coventry. Benoit was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute.

At 6:18 p.m. on August 22, troopers arrested Cristee Nugent, 27, of 2 First St., Coventry, on an active Third District District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence- BAC Unknown originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject responding to the barracks. Nugent was processed and later transported to the Women's Intake Center.

At 1:30 a.m. on August 25, troopers arrested Richard Giles, 44 of 9 Anthony St., Coventry for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. Giles was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held overnight pending his morning arraignment.

Wickford Barracks

At 3:15 p.m. on August 21, troopers arrested Zack Wright, age 21, of 206 Shippee Plat Rd., Coventry, for a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the charge of Possession of Marijuana from Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street. Wright was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Intake Center.
