State Police Log: Superior Court Warrants, Failure to Appear

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Hope Valley Barracks

  • On Dec. 29 at 2 a.m., Troopers arrested Ricky A. Thayer, 27, of 172 South Main St., Coventry, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on a charge of D.U.I. First Offense, B.A.C. Unknown, originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in West Warwick. Thayer was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

  • At 5:35 p.m. on Jan. 7, Troopers arrested Edward Greene, 42, of 75 Puritan Ave., Coventry, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in Coventry. Greene was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Facility.

Detective Bureau

  • On Dec. 30, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jason Bourbeau, 28, of 41 Willow St., Coventry, RI, on the following: 1) Kent County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for B&E; 2) Kent County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Felony Assault; and 3) Kent County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Obstructing. Bourbeau was turned over to officials at Kent County Superior Court.

Wickford Barracks

  • On Jan. 5, at 10:15 a.m., Troopers, arrested Keith Burns, 28, of 9 Eisenhower St., Apt. 2, Coventry, RI, for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Larceny over $1500 originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the charge of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle or Parts originating out of the State Police-Scituate Barracks and 3.) Third Division District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Operating on a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of Troopers assisting a disabled motor vehicle on Route 95 South, in Warwick. Burns was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
