State Police Log, June 2013: Assault, Shoplifting and More

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wickford Barracks

  • On June 3, at 2:41 a.m., Troopers, arrested Ashley Goodhart, 25, of 57 Princeton Ave., Coventry, RI on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the charge of Domestic Assault out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Goodhart was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
  • At 10:45 a.m. on June 5, a Trooper arrested Alexander Resende, 29, of 47 Bates Ave., Coventry, RI on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the Charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. Resende was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to Third Division District Court.
  • On June 15, at 10:19 p.m., Troopers, arrested Shannon Dalton, 26, of 17 Station St., Coventry, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, in the Town of West Warwick. Dalton was processed at the Wickford Barracks, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Women's Intake Center.

Hope Valley Barracks

  • On June 8 at 8:22 p.m., Troopers arrested James Potter, 21, of 784 Washington St., Coventry, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on a Charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Center of New England Boulevard, in the Town of Coventry. Potter was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
  • At 3:18 p.m. on June 11, a Trooper arrested Matthew Edwards, 34, of 21 Harrington Rd., Coventry, RI, for 1) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Operating with a Suspended License originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. Edwards was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
  • On June 11, at 11:44 p.m., Troopers arrested Kimberly Volpe, 32, of 964 Tiogue Ave., Apt. A, Coventry, Rhode Island for a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on an original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on West Street in the Town of West Warwick. Volpe was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Women's Intake
