State Police Log: DUI, Larceny, Embezzlement and Arrest Warrants

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Lincoln Woods Barracks

  • At 1:50 a.m. on Oct. 19, Troopers arrested Christopher Shaw, 37, of 4 Sooner's Lane, Coventry, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol 1st Offense – BAC Unknown. 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Cranston. Shaw was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

  • On Oct. 21 at 11:45 a.m., Detectives arrested Michael Iarocci, 31, of 44 Sharon Drive, Coventry, for 1.) Larceny Over $1,500; and 2.) Embezzlement. 

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Detectives. Iarocci was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned in Third District Court and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

  • At 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 26, Troopers arrested Jason Crehan, 30, of 120 Read Avenue, Coventry, for 1.) 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses originating out of the West Warwick Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for AG Request 32F for Passing Counterfeit Bill originating out of the Coventry Police Department, 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for AG Request 32F on the original charge of Access to Computer for Fraud, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department, 4) Superior Court Bench Warrant for AG Request 32F on the original charge of Larceny Over $1,500 originating out of the Warwick Police Department. 
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in Coventry. Crehan was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the ACI.

  • On Oct. 26 at 1:57 a.m., troopers arrested Jamieson Silveira, 18, of 15 Deer Run Drive, Coventry, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – 1st Offense – BAC > .15 (Phase I .180, Phase II .180). 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tiogue Avenue in Coventry. Silveira was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
