State Police Log: Three DUI Arrests

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Hope Valley Barracks

  • At 12:58 a.m. on Dec. 16, Troopers arrested Antonio Camara, 33, of 978 Tiogue Ave., Coventry, RI for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs, First Offense, B.A.C .10- .15 (Phase 1 = .117, Phase 2 = .120). 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in Coventry. Camara was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight to await arraignment at Third District Court.

  • At 12:40 a.m. on Dec. 23, Troopers arrested William Cahoone, 42, of 26 Lamphear St., Coventry, RI, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I - .154 / Phase II - .147). 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the West Warwick. Cahoone was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed then held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Wickford Barracks

  • On Dec. 17 at 10:25 p.m., Troopers arrested Wayne Wiesner, 58, of 6 Noella Ave., Coventry, RI for Driving Under the Influence 1st Offense, (1st phase .160 BAC and 2nd phase .157 BAC.)

The arrest was the result of motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick. Wiesner was transported to the Wickford Barracks and held overnight pending a morning arraignment in 3rd Division Court.
