The Kent County Grand Jury has indicted a 41-year-old North Kingstown man on rape charges.
Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin announced that Stephen Mulcahey, of 15 Ranger Road, was indicted Wednesday on one count of first-degree sexual assault stemming from an alleged rape that occurred in Coventry on Oct. 27 of 2013.
Coventry police led the investigation.
Mulcahey is due to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on March 21.
