Today is Tuesday, Dec. 11. Here are five things you need to know:

 

Coventry Fire District Annual Meeting: The Coventry (Anthony) Fire District will holds its Annual Meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Club Jogues (184 Boston St.) Residents will be presented and able to vote upon the 2012-2013 budget, tax rate and Board of Directors election. CHS Early Dismissal: Coventry High School students will be dismissed today at 12:30 p.m. to allow for Professional Development. Class period rotation will change to move advisory to the end of the day so not to lose instructional minutes, changing the order of periods to 5, 8, 7.

Greene Craft of the Month: The Greene Public Library will hold its Craft of the Month demonstration tonight from 3-6 p.m. This program is for adults and young adults. December's craft is Frosty Salted Pillar Candles. There is a $6 fee per person. Please call 397-3873 to register.
