Coventry Prison Officer Charged with Gun Assault
Kevin J. Donnelly, a Rhode Island Department of Corrections officer, was placed on paid leave.
Kevin J. Donnelly, a Coventry resident and Rhode Island Department of Corrections officer, was charged with a gun assault earlier this month.
Donnelly was charged with felony assault and domestic disorderly conduct May 17, according to the Providence Journal. Officers said Donnelly was drinking alcohol and used a gun to assault someone in Coventry.
He was placed on paid leave from his job.
