UPDATE: Police Continue Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Coventry Police released photos of the suspect's car, a dark Honda Accord.

Coventry Police are continuing their search for the man accused of robbing the Citizens Bank branch on Tiogue Avenue Thursday, on Friday releasing photos of the suspect's car.

Officers are searching for a dark colored 1995-2000 Honda Accord. Surveillance photos of the car and the suspect are attached to this article. Police are asking for anyone with information about the suspect and/or the incident is asked to contact the Coventry Police at 401-826-1100.

At approximately 2:31 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, Coventry Police responded to the bank to investigate a reported robbery.

According to CPD Chief Bryan Volpe, the suspect is described as a white male wearing a hooded zippered sweatshirt, light colored tee shirt, with a baseball-style cap. In video surveillance footage, he appeared to have not shaven in several days. 

Police reported no injuries and are currently investigating the incident at the scene. incident is currently under investigation with police on scene at this time.
