Coventry EMA: Halloween Activities, Yard Waste Pickup and Parking Ban

Town offices, schools and town services will resume regular operations on Wednesday.

The Town of Coventry Emergency Management Staff (EMA) is currently working with our Dept. of Public Works and National Grid crews to clear roads and restore power to our residents.

Points to note:

  • The Coventry Town Hall will reopen on Wednesday. All employees are expected to respond to work.
  • The Parking ban is NO LONGER in effect.
  • The Coventry Department of Public Works will resume garbage pick up on Wednesday, Oct. 31.  Yard waste pickup will resume Monday.
  • The Town expects that clean up should not affect Halloween festivities.

The Shelter located at the Coventry High School (40 Reservoir Rd.) closed at 12:00 noon today.

For additional storm related recovery information you may go to the Town of Coventry website at http://www.town.coventry.ri.us/.

Additional information may be obtained from the Rhode Island EMA at their website http://www.riema.ri.gov/.

The Coventry Emergency Management Agency thanks you for your cooperation!
