Coventry Court Log: DUIs, Stolen Car, Numerous Dismissals

The following Coventry court cases were heard in Third Division District Court this week.

Beth A. Caeica, 42, of 680 Washington St., Coventry, pleaded no contest to shoplifting. The case was filed for one year and she was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service.

Alexis L. Leech, 28, of 59 Clubhouse Road, West Greenwich, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. The charge was dismissed and her license was reinstated.

Ernest F. Morgan, 53, of 33 Linden Lane, West Warwick, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. He was fined $100, ordered to complete 30 hours of community service, his license was suspended for 30 days and he was ordered to attend DWI school.

Felicia Parks, 41, of 353 Washington St., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. Her license was reinstated and the charge was dismissed.

Clay Petschke, 21, of 257 Kingstown Road, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He was fined $250 and a warrant was issued for failing to appear.

Joseph W. Sorel, 63, of 7 Olneyville Square, Providence, pleaded no contest to obtaining money under false pretenses. He was sentenced to one year at the Adult Correctional Institutions, suspended, and ordered to pay $200 in restitution.

John L. Zaccaria, 46, of 85 Manchester St., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. The charge was dismissed and his license was reinstated.

Melissa A. Bailey, 27, of 780 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Aug. 6.

Erica J. Beauregard, 27, of 168 Richard St., Cranston, pleaded innocent to violating banking laws. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until July 30.

Dana R. Burrows, 34, of 7 Lyman St., Lynn, Mass., entered no plea to charges of operating a vehicle without the consent of the owner, larceny and obstruction of justice. She was released on $2,000 surety bail until an Aug. 25 screening conference.

Jeffrey P. Cherno, 49, of 9 High St., Hope, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance until Sept. 30.

Michael H. Wallitsch, 21, of 229 Gleaner Chapel Road, Scituate, pleaded innocent to malicious damage. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Aug. 6.
