Regarding the cyberstalking/cyberharrassment charge, I know for a fact that the guy sent 1 message to a person he is familiar with through a social media site that this person willingly put themself on. My guess is she went running to the police because she doesn't want her husband to know what she's been doing. Sending 1 message is not a crime. Read the statue under RI General Laws 11-52-4.2

The last cyberstalking charge was against the high school teacher. Were the results of his trial and sentencing ever published? I figured they would be since Lauren posted the story as breaking news
