Mark S. Horridge, 55, of Coventry, formerly of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Diana L. (Woodward) Horridge for twenty-four years.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Morrison E., Sr. and Agnes A. (Ashton) Horridge.
Mark was a kitchen designer and finish carpenter, most recently working for Penta Construction.
He was an avid New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and NASCAR fan.
His greatest joy was being Papa to his four grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Christopher Gartland and his wife Sophia of North Kingstown and Brandon Gartland and his wife Jillian of Seattle, WA; two brothers, Morrison "Bud" Horridge, Jr. and his wife Jane of FL and Gregory Horridge of MS; a sister Gail Randal and her husband Richard of FL; four grandchildren, Amber, Lazuli, Evan and Asher; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 4-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, please contact Christopher Gartland as a fund in Mark's name will be made to benefit Hasbro Children's Hospital.
