David M. Hopkins, 81, died Sunday March 2, 2014 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Dorothy (Lavoie) Hopkins. He was born in Hyannis, MA. a son of the late Charles L. and Esther (Milliken) Hopkins. He was a maintenance supervisor at Truex Inc. retiring in 2001. Besides his wife, he leaves one son, David M. Hopkins II and his wife, Marina; two brothers, James and John Hopkins; two grandchildren, Camille and Matthew Hopkins. He was the brother of the late Charles and Robert Hopkins and Lois Dunham.
His funeral was held on Thursday, March 6 at 9am from the POTVIN-QUINN Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Ss. John and James Church, Washington Street, West Warwick. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
