John B. Young, 61, of Coventry, a loving husband and father, passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to kidney cancer on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, surrounded by his wife Trisha and daughter Wesley. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Robert and Emily Young.
Besides his wife and daughter, John leaves two brothers, Robert Young of Connecticut and Edward Young of Florida. He was a brother of the late Frederick Wolstenholme.
John fought his cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of this loving man. We pray for him, and thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences.
His funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name to the National Kidney Foundation, Servicing New England, 85 Astor Ave., Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062 would be appreciated.
