Doris C. Robitaille, Grandmother of 6, Dies at 85

Doris C. Robitaille (Labrie), 85, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rudolph E. “Rudy” Robitaille and a daughter of the late Arthur and Lea (Lussier) Labrie.

Doris, a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley, belonged to the Ladies Altar Guild of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Coventry and the DAV Chapter 17 Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Doris also liked to travel, garden and sew.

She was the mother of Ronald E. (JoAnne) Robitaille, Robert D. (Elizabeth) Robitaille and Mark A. (Lori) Robitaille all of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Richard Labrie and Jeanne Snow.

Her funeral will be Friday, August 30, at 8 a.m. from the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Vincent De Paul Church. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
