A Thanksgiving Thank You

As I was just walking my dog in the 30 degree temperature this morning with the wind ripping through me, I realized how fotunate I was to be wearing the coat I had on, and I was still cold. I can't imagine how it must be to be without a warm coat, shelter and something to eat. I will be heading out shortly to spend the day with family and I am so grateful for that. There will be no shortage of food and I will be surrounded by warmth. I am truly blessed.

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has donated coats and other warm things to my daughter's Girl scout troop to be donated to the Mobile Loaves and Fishes project. We brought 37 coats in November, and we are up to 25 now for December. We will be bringing the coats we have collected to St. Luke's for December 24th.
