What's Your New Year's Resolution, Coventry?

The coming new year seems like the time to set those goals, and turn over a new leaf in your life. What changes, if any, do have a goal to make in 2014?

It may be cliche, but the approaching brand new year seems like an opportune time to make changes in your life you may have been wanting to make for a while.

According to USA.gov, there are a number of resolutions for the new year that remain popular.

They include losing weight and getting fit, managing stress and debt better, getting a better education or job, becoming more 'green' and volunteering to help others more.

And experts say there are ways, whatever your resolutions are, to make sure they actually come true. 

Believing you can accomplish the goals you set are key, according to TIME Health and Family, in addition to making sure you are realistic in what you would like to adjust in your life. 

Preparing your mind ahead of time to implement those changes, and ensuring they begin on the first day of the new year also are ways to find success, according to the article

Even if you end up eating that piece of pie, or failing to get that workout in by January 2, another strategy is to revert right back to your goals if you fall off the proverbial wagon, and keep trying.

Finding support in friends or others with resolutions similar to yours is yet another way to make sure those dreams for 2014 really can become a reality.
