To help make the holidays brighter for children in need, BankRI has partnered with 12 local non-profits to provide gifts for the less fortunate this holiday season.

All 18 BankRI branches have put up a Holiday Giving Tree with ornaments listing holiday wishes of local children. Customers and staff are encouraged to select an ornament and provide that child with a holiday gift by returning to their branch and placing the gift beneath the tree.

Gifts collected at BankRI's Coventry branch located at 3 Coventry Shoppers Park will help 'Tis the Season, a volunteer organization helping kids and families in need within Coventry and West Greenwich.

“Our Holiday Giving Tree program is a long-standing tradition that demonstrates the commitment of both our customers and staff to helping the community,” said Mark J. Meiklejohn, President and CEO, BankRI. “When I think about the number of gifts donated and given to children and families over these past 15 years, I know we’re making a difference and brightening the holidays for those who need it most—I have no doubt that this year’s effort will be a success.”
