Decorating your Garage Door and More

Looking to get your home into the Halloween spirit? There are tons of inexpensive ways to turn your house from 'beautiful' to 'BOOtiful!'

Go Batty

Black cardstock, string, and tape can turn your house into a bat cave! By cutting out bat shapes and hanging them with clear string (think: fishing line) it will have the appearance of flying bats!

Not all Jack-O-Lanterns need to be spooky. Using smaller gourds, make holes using a drill or circular stencil to illuminate your walking path for trick-or-treaters.

Make them creepy by adding plastic spiders or rats!

Gourds as Garland

While we've got gourds on the brain- try this clever trick: by drilling small holes and stringing through thin rope, you've created a garland that's not just for Halloween. The more gourds, the better!

Garage Door Decorating

Many party stores sell 'garage door skins' meant to display large images: a truly eye-catching addition.

As a cheaper alternative, use black fabric tape to create the fence facade, and cut black craft foam into creepy shapes! Cats, bats, spiders- the possibilities are endless.
