CCFD TASK FORCE UPDATE

On April 3, 2014  at approximately 4:43      The House Committee on Municipal Government will be hearing H 7906 ENTITLED, AN ACT RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A NEW FIRE DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF COVENTRY TO BE KNOWN AS THE MAIN FIRE DISTRICT..... This is in regard to the continuing issue with regard to our public safety. The Task Force is requesting a show of support and I think all concerned citizens who can make this hearing should be allowed to voice their concerns.

Funny how the Task Force has not been forthcoming on this hearing,
you know all that TRANSPARENCY! So let me help you folks out a bit.

Let this committee know:
The players of this task force have no plan!

At a public hearing last Wednesday night questions were
deflected or unanswered.

Let this committee know that representative morgan refused to identify
the Chief of her new district.

Let them know that there is a claim of 16 people ready to replace our current staff but there are no names to these potential employees. The committee also needs to know that there is no background checks, and no qualifications for the phantom 16.

Let them know there isn't a chief on this planet that would sign a mutual aid pact with tis lunacy!

Let them know that when asked about funding, that information is being with held!

Let them know that they have yet to provide any long range plan.

Let them know that three CCFD Board members have incorporated
to line their pockets and their lawyer's with  our public funds!

Let them know them know that you have had enough of this lunacy!

Let them know that all this is based on profit and has nothing to do with
our safety! Let them know that CCFD currently has 2 million dollars in it's account and can easily be managed to fiscal responsibility.

Let them know you have payed for and continue to pay for service delivered by PROFESSIONAL CAREER PERSONNEL.

So head up to Smith Hill if you can and show some logical support for the
Community and not a group of individuals who have their financial interest placed ahead of you and your family's safety!
