Wednesday Is Iced Coffee Day

Visit a local Dunkin' Donuts for a reduced-price iced coffee and support Hasbro Children's Hospital.


Head to Dunkin' Donuts Wednesday for a cheap coffee while supporting a good cause.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced that Wednesday, May 23, is Iced Coffee Day in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts. All day, participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants will offer guests a medium (24 oz.) cup of iced coffee for $1. Additionally, a small iced coffee will be reduced to 75 cents and a large will be reduced to $1.50. The proceeds from Iced Coffee sales that day will be donated to The Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

There are four Dunkin' Donuts in Coventry for customers to choose - , (Xtra Mart), and . If you're heading towards the highway from a different direction, there are also two West Greenwich locations nearby at 111 Hopkins Hill Rd. and 49 Nooseneck Hill Rd.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the unofficial start of summer with the return of Iced Coffee Day for Hasbro Children’s Hospital for the third year," said Joe Prazeres, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee, in a press release. "Thanks to our loyal and generous guests, this annual promotion has generated nearly $350,000 for the organization, and we are excited to continue to raise money for a wonderful cause."

The money such fundraisers generates is critical to supporting the hospital, according to Dr. Robert B. Klein, pediatrician-in-chief of Hasbro Children’s Hospital
